KATZ SEKI (22 March 1963 - 9 January 2021)
Sadly I only found out this morning that Katz died suddenly two months ago.

Living in Ireland I never met him personally but I always felt he was a good friend as did many other folks here.
As this site faded away, if I posted anything Katz was the most likely person to respond.
He had an encyclopedic knowledge of punk, HC, grind, noisecore, gothic punk etc.
with special knowledge of the international scene.
Katz was always only too happy to share his knowledge - as he did with me on this forum many times.

I became aware of Katz through his reviews and seeing his photos in Flipside in 1993.
I heard of BRIGADA DO ODIO and AGONIA because Katz referenced them in a review. Anything he wrote was an
education in music history.

Soon I got to see more of his photos on records and got the HATED PRINCIPLES - Extermination EP.
Later he brought us lots of cool noisecore with NOYFB and w/ Ben in GORGONIZED DORKS.

And remember all the photos he'd post of the Gothic nights he went to most weeks ?!

I will always be grateful to Katz for all the great things he did for us.
R.I.P. friend - You'll always be missed.
